El Fother
Emanuel Herrera Batista (Santo Domingo, December 18, 1990), known as El Alfa, is a Dominican rapper from dembow.1 He has collaborated with artists such as Daddy Yankee, Major Lazer, Anuel AA, Bad Bunny, Lil Pump, J Balvin, Diplo, Farruko, De La Ghetto, Zion, Cardi B, Pitbull, Nicky Jam, Yandel, Ozuna, Chencho de Plan B, Tyga and the band The Black Eyed Peas.
After the death of the Night Surgeon, El Fother returns to music with a song dedicated to his memory, which was titled Freestyle 2011 and was produced by the music producer Chucky El Cibernético.3 El Fother is described as one of the best rappers in the Dominican Republic, because his lyrics reflect the violent lifestyle of young Dominicans, who reside in the marginal neighborhoods of Greater Santo Domingo, such as Los Mina, Guachupita, San Isidro, etc.
